Arizonans should be guaranteed affordable, high quality, comprehensive health care. It is simply unacceptable that so many adults and children still go without health insurance in Arizona. In the pursuit of affordable and accessible health care for all, my priorities include:
- Providing pre-natal care and infant health and nutrition to families;
- Investing in public health and preventive health programs;
- Offering discounted care programs for uninsured and underinsured patients at hospitals or clinics;
- Promoting tax credits to small businesses who provide healthcare to employees;
- Funding and mandating adequate job training for caregivers;
- Mandating a reasonable nurse to patient ration for nursing homes and assisted living facilities;
- Protecting our citizens from soaring costs of medicine and drugs;
